Description
This deluxe, yet cozy, 1950’s short robe, features an exceptional amount of hand embroidery on the front, to cover both sides, from collar to hemline, as well as the cuffs. The colour of the embroidery gives both subtly and depth, in that there is not a heavy concentration in any one area, but is lightly done throughout; in white, orange and brown, so it blends in beautifully. The label indicates it was made in Florence, Italy. There is a small M label to indicate medium, but no fabric label. It feels like a wool blend. It measures shoulder to shoulder 15″ Sleeve length 15 1/2″ Bust 36″ and overall length 35″. Estimated to be size 6-8 with the shoulders being small, but is roomy and belted otherwise. The condition is very good.
