Description
This knit shift dress is made of 100% cotton in black, with orange coloured trim and wave patterns in the fabric design. The fabric also has raised rectangular patterns, in between the wave patterns. The cap sleeves are incorporated into the bodice and measure 10″ from the neckline. Estimated size 10-12. It measures bust 44″ waist 38″ hips 42″ and length 44″. There is no evidence that there was shoulder pads in the original design, but they may have been tacked in, and easily removed by a previous owner. I wavered in dating this dress, since I think it may be older than eighties, possibly sixties. It does have a fabric content label, which was not mandated until the early seventies. The condition is very good. Made in Italy.
