Description
Saint Laurent Rive Gauche 1970’s softly draping skirt with wide front pleats, and gathering below the waistband in the back. It does not have the fabric composition label. It looks and feels like wool crepe. “Wool Crepe: Softly draping wool crepe was one of Yves Saint Laurent’s absolute favorite textiles for his famous rive gauche peasant and midi-length skirts.” It has a luxury brand metal Eclair side zipper, two large wide flat hook closures, and a snap. The top portion is lined. Apparently this was done so the skirt would drape and move fluidly. It has lined slash side pockets. Size 40 on label or 4-6. It measures Waist 26″ Hips 36″ Length 27″. Made in France. Circa 1970’s. Condition is very good.
