Description
This early Mexican sterling silver pin is probably the oldest Taxco or Mexican sterling item in the collection. It is really quite dramatic and very large. It features a head dress of open work silver around a dark green carved stone. The back of it is marked with the vintage or near antique markings from this era of Mexican silver. It measures 3.25″ x 2.25″. It is in very good condition with the exception of a bend in the pin. It has a c clasp that the pin fits into, but there is no locking mechanism.
