Description
This Sankyo wind-up musical powder box, or trinket box, features a textured silver tone metal in an art nouveau pattern, with a variety of hand-painted enamel flowers in white, yellow, red, and black. The inside of the lid has a mirror that is intact, and in good condition. The wind-up key on the bottom works fine, and plays the tune Swan Lake. The diameter is 3.6″ x 3.75″ high. The inside depth is .8″ and the musical components are underneath the powder compartment insert. The lid has a raised metal dot pattern with a pearl on top. You can lift the powder insert inside to view the musical components. Overall it is in very good condition. Although some of the foil stamp on the bottom is missing, it reads “Swan Lake Sankyo S Orgel.”
