Description
This solid brass Thomas Blakemore candlestick measures 10″ high x 5″ wide. The details of her clothing, hair and wings are etched into the brass. She is gazing upward at the candlestick. I have estimated it to be 1980’s but it could be older. It has the original cardboard hang tag.
The inside of the card reads ” Thomas Blakemore’s lamps and decorative accessories reach you from the hands of British craftsmen whose skills have been handed down from father to son for over 130 years. Our products are hand cast and spun, or hammered and polished making each item individual. They are to be found in the finest houses around the world and we are proud of our reputation for excellence.”
On the other side of the card, it states “Care of Product Wipe with a clean soft cloth. Never use Polishes, abrasives, or chemicals. Established 1847.”
