Placing an order with Quiet West Vintage means you have read and are agreeing to all of these stated terms and conditions.

Should you have any questions prior to making your selections, please contact us and we will reply, usually within 24 hours. Once a purchase is made, we will process your order and send a shipping confirmation notice, which can be expected within 48 hours.

Quiet West Vintage uses a secure PCI compliant payment gateway for all credit card transactions. This information is not stored on our site and is secured and protected by the payment gateway providers. ALL funds must be received within five (5) days of order confirmation.

AUTHENTICITY STATEMENT

Quiet West Vintage sells authentic vintage and luxury brand product. We do not sell luxury brand products that are now outsourced and mass produced in China. We do not sell “vintage inspired” or “vintage styled” product. By authentic vintage – we mean vintage clothing that is at least twenty-five years old. Otherwise the item will be listed and dated as contemporary. Wherever possible, the country of origin, and all labels and age defining details are described and photographed, in order to assist the buyer in making a decision. Integrity and Authenticity are integral to the Mission Statement of Quiet West Vintage.

SHIPPING

Free shipping on all domestic orders over $100. For all orders below $100, a $25 flat rate shipping fee applies. On all international orders a $200 minimum order is required for free shipping, otherwise a $60 flat rate fee applies. Items are shipped with insurance that is included in the shipping fee. If the Buyer wishes to return an item that has been purchased from Quiet West Vintage, the return shipping is the responsibility of the Buyer. If the product was shipped under the flat rate fee or under the free shipping guidelines, the original shipping costs will be deducted on all returns. Standard shipping will be via Canada Post expedited. Special shipping requests will be accepted at the Buyers expense. This requires the Buyer to provide instructions and courier account number. International orders are gladly accepted with Buyer responsible for any duties.

TAXES

Products are listed with the taxes included in the price. The tax details, depending on location and country code, are tabulated when the purchase is made and kept track of in the stores accounting system.

RETURNS

Returns will be accepted only with the approval of Quiet West Vintage, less shipping. When you receive your items, please inspect them and make sure they meet your expectations. Please notify us within 24 hours of receipt of your package if you wish to return the merchandise. Returns received without prior written notice, or outside the specified timelines, will not be honored. Return items must be in the exact condition as sent and received within seven (7) days of the original shipping date. The condition and acceptance of the returned merchandise will be determined at the sole discretion of Quiet West Vintage. We carefully inspect, photograph, describe in detail, and document item condition before shipping.

If the customer chooses to exchange the merchandise or register a store credit instead of a refund, we will add a 10% discount on your next purchase, in order to help offset the return shipping costs. Store credits can be used at any time, without an expiry date. To redeem store credits for online items at www.quietwest.com, you can make your selections and notify us when you are ready to use the credit. The Buyer is responsible for all return shipping and insurance costs. Shipping charges are not refundable. On the condition that Free Shipping was offered on the purchase and a refund is requested, the store will refund the amount received as payment for the product, and will deduct the original shipping costs.

GIFT CERTIFICATES

Quiet West Vintage gift certificates are available online. They make a perfect gift for your friends and family members who love vintage but are hard to shop for. The gift certificates can be sent to either you or the recipient. Minimum amount is $50.00

FOR THOSE NEW TO BUYING VINTAGE

Vintage clothing has been pre-owned or previously worn, and may have minor flaws. However, the quality of fabric, workmanship and attention to detail is what makes vintage so desirable. Look for items classified as excellent or mint if you are looking for a near perfect piece. Most of our pieces are classified as Very Good or Excellent. Please refer to the Quiet West Vintage Condition Guidelines.

We respect your privacy. Any and all the information collected on this site will be kept strictly confidential and will not be sold, reused, rented, or disclosed to any third party. Any information you provide will be held with the utmost care and will not be used in ways that you have not consented to.
