Berge was co-founder of the YSL Couture Fashion House in 1961, and lifetime partners with Yves Saint Laurent. This rare handbag by Berge is likely from the eighties. It is a combination of burgundy suede and hand tooled leather with flowers. The label reads Berge Made in Italy Genuine Leather. It measures 11 1/2″ x 8 1/2″. The handle drop is 12″. It has a single open pocket inside. It has adjustable buckles all the way around it. The condition is good, showing some discolouration on the suede.
