Description
This 1930’s S.B. Watts & Co. beautiful, bias cut, black crepe evening dress, is embellished with a hand sewn arrangement of silver sequins and black beads, adorning the neckline and bodice. It is gathered at the shoulders. The dress falls into a generous sweep at the bottom, so reminiscent of the thirties glamour. Estimated size 8. It measures bust 34″ waist 30″ hips 38″ and length is 54″. Considering the age, it is in very good condition. There are three areas, one with a small split, and two pinholes. Also, some restitching done, where the shoulders are gathered. The dress is now an antique. The label indicates that it was special ordered. The address on the label indicates it is from Manchester.
