Description
This late fifties or early sixties professionally made black dress, is a rayon crepe, with a lining sewn into the seams. The bust is ruched in small, tight folds of fabric. In addition, there is a diagonal panel of ruched fabric, to accent the midline of the dress, wider on one side, narrowing to where it is joined on the other side. The back is plain, with long darts. The sleeves are smooth and cut into arced shapes, as part of the bodice detail, front and back. There are no labels. It has a metal back zip, and hook closure, as well as bra keepers, and no kick pleat. Estimated to be size 8-10. It measures cap sleeves 5″ bust 36″ waist 29″ hips 36″ and length 32 1/2″. The condition is very good.
