Description
This 1950’s pink & gold brocade bombshell, pin up, wiggle dress; features a snug fitting bodice, with a snug waist, and a skirt that gathers and puffs out at the hips. The dress tapers slightly at the bottom, to be narrower than the hips. The design was noted to cause a woman to take unnaturally small steps, creating a wiggle, when she walks, therefore it does not have a kick pleat. It is fully lined in a pale pink acetate. The waist has rounded fabric piping. It has a plastic back zip – the zipper has been replaced. It has no labels. Estimated size 3-4. It measures bust 32″ waist 24″ hips 38″ and length from the top of the shoulder is 38″. It is in very good condition.
