Description
This is an intriguing dress. There is no evidence it ever had belt loops, therefore, I think it was designed to be worn as a drop waist style dress, which was popular in the seventies. It looks good with a belt too. Some of the photos are showing it with a wide belt. It is made of a ribbed jacquard synthetic fabric. The entire dress is lined in black acetate, including the sleeves. The bottom has an extra layer of fabric, to add a bit of volume. It is trimmed in black feather trim. It has no labels, and is estimated to be a size 10. Shoulder to shoulder, it is just 16″. Sleeve length 13″ bust 38″ waist 34″ and length from centre back is 42″. It is in very good condition.
