Hardy Amies classy 1970’s vintage shirt dress, gives an example of a casual, yet rare, daytime dress by this designer from No. 14 Saville Row in London. The comfort and versatility make it a wearable dress for almost any occasion.
The fabric is a fine spun, lightweight, softly draping wool (55%) and cotton (45%) blend. The label indicates the fabric was woven in Scotland. The small white buttons are hidden beneath a button flap, down the front of the dress. The sleeves have matching shirt-style single button closures. For pocket lovers, there are four pockets – two in the front with an overlapping flap, and two hip level side pockets. Size 8. It measures bust, hips and waist 40″. Sleeve length is 20 1/2″. Overall length from centre back is 50″. It is in very good condition. Made in the UK.
