This classic black dress, is a very well made Original Du-Rite mid-century design from Toronto, Canada. The material is black crepe, featuring layers of folds on the bodice, with bands on each site, leading to softly pleated shoulders. It has the original metal zipper, and a single hook closure at the top. The dress is fully lined in black acetate with hand stitched finishing. The estimated size is Canadian 10. It measures Bust – 36″ Waist 32″ Hips 38-39″ Length from centre back is 39″ Arm Holes 14″ Sleeve Length at armpit is 2.25″ and from shoulder seam at the top 4.5″ Neck is 18-20″ Sweep is 40″ (no kick pleat). It has a 4.5″ taped hem. It is in excellent, and original condition.
