Description
An Original by Lorayne 1940’s black and white polka dot dress and jacket, featuring velvet accents. It has a metal side zipper and hook closures. There is no fabric label. It is made of a light sheer cotton or cotton linen blend, best described as lawn. The skirt drapes beautifully, and is sheer with large pleats at the waist and a huge sweep. The jacket and top of the dress are lined, and trimmed in velvet, with a bow at the centre. The straps and belt are black velvet, as well as the collar of the jacket. Size 8. The dress measures bust 34″ waist 28″ and length is 40″. The jacket is open at the front, without closures. The sleeves measure 8″ bust 36″ waist 32″ and length 18″. It is in excellent condition.
