Jr. Murray Bowman By Town & Country Wear Ltd. late forties or early fifties black dress with wool top and a low cut back. The front has a high folded neckline and V shape in the bodice. The skirt has a layer of gathered chiffon over a heavy acetate under slip. It was missing the original belt, so I have paired it with a narrow leather, vintage Pierre Cardin belt, that has both silver and gold tone metal in the buckle. The dress is a petite size 6. The bracelet sleeves measure 17 1/2″ from the neckline bust 34″ waist 26″ and length is 33″. It is in very good condition. Made in Canada.
