This solid silver metal elephant bracelet is hallmarked S-80. It is not sterling silver but rather is 80% silver and 20% alloy. Research on this jewelry mark varies. Some say it means it is silver plated, however it is not silver plated. Silver plated is marked EPNS, EP, A1 or B1. EP stands for electroplated. This item is solid metal with no evidence of plating or copper showing through. It is 800 silver. It measures 7.5″ long and is in very good condition.
