Description
This Coro necklace features violet tear drop, rectangular, and round cut glass stones in an ornate gold metal metal setting. It measures 16″ long and has the Coro Pegasus stamp without a copyright symbol. The decorative front section measures 4″ x 1.25″. The back of the necklace shows some wear on the metal. The front is in good condition.
“The parure’s flying horse Pegasus mark, first used in 1938, identifies it as a Coro craft set produced from 1945 to 1955. It is a favorite of collectors who search for examples without wear, scratches, damaged gold plate or missing stones.”
