Description
This Mexican sterling silver bracelet features raised abalone shell with carvings and metalwork. Alternating segments feature carved faces wearing hooped earrings and in between the flatter pieces have diagonal metalwork lines and decorated metalwork around them. It has a unique and unusual signature with MAP inside a circle plus a symbol and the initials DF. It measures 8″ in length x 1″ and is in very good condition with the exception of one missing small earring on the carved face at one end. It is a beautifully crafted design and I will continue to research the DF initials and the MAP as I have not seen it on any of the Taxco pieces I have in the collection.
