Description
This stunning and impeccably carved mother of pearl pendant or pin features a cameo-like image of a woman wearing a broad brimmed hat with a carved ribbon bow at the crown. Her hair is also carved, and showing beneath the hat. She is wearing carved hoop earrings, and a V neck dress with a pearl necklace. The image is ethereal, with a cloud-like background, and variations in the luminescence, depending on the lighting. There is an inverted U shape silver attachment on the back of the pendant with a pin, and a small bail for the chain. The pendant measures 3″” x 2.25″. The box chain measures 26″long and is hallmarked 925. The pendant is in excellent condition.
