Description
This interesting and unique vintage coat has pads to define the shoulders, and gathering where the top of the sleeves join the shoulders. It has a single button closure at the top, and a stand up velvet collar. It can be worn with, or without the belt. The only label on it is a size label 44. It is lined. It does not have pockets. Although swing coats were popular in the 1950’s they were also in vogue in the 1930’s and 1940’s. Because of the strong shoulders, and stand up collar, I lean toward placing this in the 1940’s genre. The fabric feels like wool. It measures Shoulder to shoulder 16″ Bust 40-42″ Sleeves 21.5″. It is in very good condition.
